Will DogeCoin's Community Take It To the Moon?

Reddit user Vibr8gKiwi has an interesting post about the exuberance in the Dogecoin community on Reddit.  He notes that the users have a much more welcoming way about them, tipping and upvoting significantly more than the users on the Bitcoin subreddit.  He notes that the users seem to have less understanding of the technical underpinnings of the currency than other crypto currency enthusiasts but that lack of understanding does not dampen their enthusiasm for the prospects of the currency.

It is still very early in the crypto currency history but it will be interesting none the less to see what user base creates the strongest demand for a usable currency.  At the end of the day, it’s easy to forget that the technical underpinnings of a currency while possibly exciting to technologists and monetary purists are of little importance when compared to general excitement over transacting in said currency.
