Market Update April 01, 2014 17:19 (BTC up 6.26% to $491)

Bitcoin is currently up $28.91 (6.26%) in trading against the dollar today.    A review of Bitcoin historical prices show that The virtual currency has closed higher than this price 27 of the last 30 days.  Bitcoin has been as high as $698 and as low as $446.26 over the prior 30 days.  This equates to 30 day volatility of 4.8%.  The lightning rod currency has been up as much as $37.81 today and down as much as $5.63 today so there is the potential for good news in coming inter-day trading.

 

Litecoin is also up against the dollar.  Litecoin is currently trading at $13.48 per coin.  This price is 4.9% higher than yesterday's close price.  Interday trading has seen prices as high as $13.89 and as low as $12.81.

 

In Alt news Cryptogenicbullion is up 29.73% to $0.48, Unobtanium is up 16.67% to $2.80, Catcoin is up 50% to $0.06 and PhilosopherStone is up 22.5% to $0.05.
